PASSION & EXPERIENCE
Josh Lewis began his interest in Music Recording at Colgate University in the mid 1990s. Playing keyboard in a band, and aspiring to become a better guitar player, he fell in love with professor Dexter Morill’s Recording Studio. He then went on to complete a degree in Recording Engineering at Full Sail University, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2001. It was then, that Josh began an internship at Miami’s Studio Center, working his way up to a staff engineering position, spending just over 6 years in-house. This period of 60-80 hour work-weeks, in major label recording sessions, steeled his ability to troubleshoot the entire gamut of things that may go wrong in the studio (both technical and interpersonal). Josh had the pleasure of working with a wide array of artists from different genres; Kool and the Gang to T-Pain, Tito Nieves to Lil Wayne, Trick Daddy, Juvenile, Fat Joe, Shakira, Rick Ross, Pit Bull, Ricky Martin, and many others. He has worked at nearly all of the major studios in the Miami area, and continues to develop relationships in the recording community through his retail company Little Fish Audio.
